Subject: James A. Nisbet

I'm looking for any information on a man named james A. Nisbet, he was an animal trap maker in
Michigan, he made a trap the was really neat, he applied for a US patent in 1897 in Livingston
County Michigan, to the best of my research he moved to Eaton Rapids and passed away in 1924, i
believe he had four sibblings... Any info about him or his relation would be greatly appreciated ..

My ggreatgranddmother was Charlotte Brownlie Nisbet her husband was Thomas Nisbet they married 28th Dec 1854 and they lived in Cumbusneathan Scotland. They had 9 children,
John - b 1860
Robert - b 1862
Thomas - b 1863 my great grandfather
William - b 1865 emigrated to Virginia
James - b 1868 emigrated to Virginia
Hugh - b 1869
Helen - b 1871
George - b 1873
Charlotte - b 1879

Thomas moved to the Wemyess in Fife Scotland to work in the mines there. He met and married a Christina Brown and thet had 6 children,

Robert- b 1891
Charlotte - b 1893 my grandmother
John- b 1895
Christina- b 1897
Susan- b 1900

Charlotte moved to London met and married George Alfred Linney in 1920 moved back to Scotland and had 4 children,
George - b 1922?
Thomas - b 1925?
Frederick - b 1927 my father
Christina - b 1929?

Hi, I am tracing some nesbits from scotland. Varied bunch.
David b:1820. married mary w b:1821. gave birth to a son alexander 1845 in
scotland and daughter lilly b:1848 in newcastle Uk.
It is very hard. anyone been here and sorted it out. Other sibling born:1866
in byker newcastle is john innes nesbitt,who died from being stabbed in 1910.
