Subject: Searching or family of Mark Arthur Nesbitt of PA, USA
My grandfather was Mark Arthur Nesbitt, he married Geraldine Loper (his second wife, fiirst was Ethel Grinnell) they had my mom, Dora Ellen, also Richard, Brenda, and Larry. Though I am not a Nesbitt myself, I love tracing this family/clan. I was told that there were some Nesbitts that had come from Scotland/Ireland to flee persecution and one of these or their progeny married an Indian woman from the Pocono tribe. There are Stewarts and Huddlesons related to this branch, too. The late Jimmy Stewart, the actor, was my mother's fourth or fifth cousin or something.
Anyone that has info about this branch, feel free to e-mail me.

to Hugh George Nisbet - daughter (my mother) Jane Sutherland Nisbet born 5 12
1895, Edinburgh. Grandmother Marion for some reason does not appear on the
1901 census - where did she die and of what cause?

Trying to track my maternal side....Can't get to the father of my Marion Francis Nesbit b 1813! He married Sarah Hall in White River Settlement in Arkansas. Both are listed as mulattos in the 1850 census. Black/Cherokee mix on the Hall side, maybe also on the Neasby side. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.
