KNOW all men by these presents that
I John Delabere of Granvile County in the Province aforesaid for and in Consideration of
the Sum of Two hundred & Fifty pounds current money of the aforesaid Province to me in
hand paid by Alex: Nesbit of Charles Town in the said Province Merchant whereof I hereby
acknowledge the receipt & my self therewith fully satisfyed have bargained sold &
delivers & by these presents in due form of Law do Bargain Sell & deliver unto the
said Alexander Nisbett his Ex.rs Adm.rs and assignes one-sixth part of the good sloop
commonly called or known by the name of the Good Success to have and to hold the said
bargained premises unto the said Alex: Nisbett his Ex.rs Administrators & Assigns to
the only proper use & behoofe of th said Alexander Nisbett his Ex.rs Adm.rs &
Assignes for ever and I the said John Delabere for my self my Ex.rs and Adm.rs the said
bargained premises unto the said Alex: Nisbet his Ex.rs Adm.rs & assignes against all
persons shall & will Warrant & for ever defend by these presents IN WITNESS
whereof I the said John Delabere have hereunto set my hand & seal this twenty second
day of July and in the Second Year of the reigns of our sovereigns Lord George the Second
by the Grace of God of Great Britain, France, & Ireland kind defender of the faith
& Anno Dei 1728.

Gignillat. Reced the Day & Year within written of the within named Alexander
Nisbett the consideration money within mentioned I say rec:d pr me.

PERSONALLY Came & Appeared before me Alex: Parris Esq.r one of his
Majesties Justices assigned to keep the peace in Berkley County. Christopher Harman
one of the subscribing Witnesses and made oat on the holy Evangelists that he did see John
Delabere signe, seale, & deliver this writing as his act and deed and that Henry
Gignillat was also present.
